Synod of Bishops Russian Orthodox Church—Where Dan, Chuck, Nate and Eric Turned into Men

Situated on 75 East 93rd Street in New York City, New York, the Synod of Bishops Russian Orthodox Church is an older-looking, red tiled building in a bustling city. It is a church that is attended by many orthodox Russian Catholics residing in New York as well as visiting tourists from around the United States or from other parts of the world. This church’s website boasts of its many healings and miracles that are performed there.

This church was also used to film many episodes for the TV show Gossip Girl. Important characters Dan (Penn Badgley), Chuck (Ed Westwick), Nate (Chace Crawford) and Eric (Connor Paolo) all attend St. Jude School for Boys that uses this church to represent that school. In Episode 25 of Season 2 titled “Goodbye Gossip Girl” the boys graduate from St. Jude School for Boys. In this episode Nate apologizes to Blair (Leighton Meester) for breaking up with her in a poor manner. Blair says she forgives him and thanks him for persuading her to take the SATs which is resulting in her going to NYU in the fall. Dan walks to them and invites both Nate and Blair to his graduation party that evening.
